The South Island adds another new event to it's ever-growing events calendar
South Island Indoor Challenge Men's $5, 000 Open
- Qualifying Draw: March 25-28
- Main Draw: April 2-4
The indoor tournament will attract some of the best players in BC and the USTA/Pacific Northwest region. There will be courtside bleacher seating, chair umpires, and ball kids at the matches creating a professional match environment.
- The top 8 ranked entries will be placed directly into the main draw weekend, April 2nd-4th. The tournament committee will consider the BC Rogers Rankings, National Rogers Rankings, USTA/PNW, and ATP World-Rankings when considering direct entries. Main Draw players will receive hotel accomadations.
- The first weekend (March 25-28) will be a 2-KO qualifying tournament open to 64 players. The top 8 will move onto the main draw weekend. Players of all levels are eligable to enter, we encourage 4.0's, 4.5's, 5.0's to enter for your opportunity to take on the best. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches.

- The South Island Tennis Association (SITA) has generously contributed toward our prize money.
- Tennis BC has sanctioned the tournament so that it will count toward the BC and Canadian National Rogers Rankings.

If you want to play in the qualifying tournament, please sign up early to increase your chances of securing a spot. And even though this is an open event, we are making the qualifying tournament a 2KO event, so 4.0 and above players can participate, are guaranteed two matches. Also all players get a free weekend spectator pass for the final weekend (ticket cost will be $10 per day, or $20 for all three days).
